Each shirt is laundered at low temperature in soft water, then finished by hand on a dedicated press. Collar stays bagged and replaced. Cuffs squared. Returned on a slim wood hanger inside a breathable cotton sleeve.

Suiting, blocked and pressed.

We block-press wool, flannel and tropical-weight suiting on tailor's hams — sleeves rolled, lapels rested, vents settled. Trousers are creased with a sharp single line. Returned on broad-shouldered wood hangers.

Silk, beading, and gowns of long memory.

Eveningwear is assessed before it is touched. Beading is individually wrapped; silk crepe is steamed off the press; tuxedo facings are laid flat and pressed cool. We log each piece with its own dossier.

Bed linen and table linen, returned folded.

Egyptian and Belgian linens are laundered separately, calendared damp, and folded against the weave. Tablecloths are rolled rather than creased. We return all linen wrapped in unbleached paper and tied with twine.

No. 05 · Knitwear & cashmere

Wool and cashmere, blocked flat.

Fine knits are hand-washed in cool water with cedar soap, then blocked flat on linen-covered boards for two days. Pilling is removed by hand with a Belgian stone. Returned folded against the weave.

Old cloth, brought back to its line.

For inherited and archive garments. Stain removal is addressed with archival-grade reagents; loose seams are re-stitched; linings are repaired with matched silk. Every restoration is photographed before and after.
